Rossco Wright
Rossco Wright, has been a full-time professional Guitar Technician since he was 19 years old. His career began in the repair department of a major importer, where he worked for 6 years getting his professional training.
He was in business for himself at 25 when he ran a retail-access guitar repair business for 30 years, wherein he was the Authorized Warranty Repair Service for Martin, Gibson, Fender, Takamine, Ovation, and Alvarez/Yairi.
Rossco and Frank Nakatsuma invented the SoloEtte Travel Guitar in 1993. This innovative design landed Frank and Rossco on CNN in 1994 every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day for 3 days. Rossco was awarded a Trademark for the SoloEtte design, and while building 5,367 SoloEttes in Eugene, Oregon, with 10 employees, he simultaneously licensed the design to Aria Guitars whom made 25,000 of them and paid Rossco a royalty on each one.
After doing SoloEtte for 23 years, Rossco has turned his attention to another trademark that he holds. Now 72, along with his passions for home and family, playing Jazz guitar, fly-fishing, and big astronomical telescopes, Rossco builds very elegant guitars in OREGON, USA, that embody his Trademark No. 4,767,088.
